I got a new Shift Knob....found out it will not fit and when i took off my original therre is a wire that connects the Knob to allow you to shift into gear...I cannot find where that wire went to so i can re connect it. I cannot drive anywhere now! Please help. :ph34r:

Check the front of your original shifter there sometimes is a little pin you have to pull out and the part you put that cable to will come out of the knob and you put the cable on that and that little peace back in the shifter knob and the pin back in the knob and BOB's YOUR UNCLE>

Just cut the original shifter...I did that...It's been 3 years now...Never had a problem.
