Cars From Cuba - dBlast - 02-16-2006 While I was in Cuba last week I snapped some pics of cars down there. I'd say that about 20% of the cars are still the old original American cars from the 1950s. After Fidel Castro took over, no more American cars, a mixture of Russian cars (mostly Ladas) and some obscure European cars (Pugeuot, Citroen, Seat, old Fiats) and Asian cars (Kia, Daishu, Mitsubishi) but nothing mfg on North American soil.
