And to think, I likely get to go to balmy Khandahar for as many as 9 months next year...after 6 months in Kabul I just finished a few months ago....yeah!!!!

I put my name in to go to Khandahar for 6 months in August 2006, to work on the UAV's ...i wanna go. Hate to say that, but i do.

That's strange, I don't remember the news story about the Americans kidnapping Canadian military personel and setting them up a Canadian base in Afghanistan.

Remember that the Afghanistan invasion was UN sanctioned, it was Iraq that was not.
