They're just trying to tug boat it out... like the old hammer analogy. If it don't work at first, get a bigger tug boat.

They will probably have to crane of some of the containers, that will probably involve building a temporary road. They may also have to do some dredging as well as it loks like it had a fair bit of momentum at the time. In short a very expensive mess.

At typical rates they are losing about $40,000US per day in lost charter revenue and have been there since Christmas day already. That's $680,000US in lost revenue alone, add in expenses like hiring in salvage tugs at a daily rate and it's ...............wow.
