i'm an owner of 2001 wagen 5spd.
it doesn't come with ABS . just wondering how much am i look at if i want to install it... or anyone has done this before...

YOU NEED:
Brake Booster / MC
Prop Valve
All new brake lines running from these things, then new lines running to the brakes (unless you tap somewhere)
The ABS harness, usually fairly easy seperate from the normal harness.
Abs Control Module
Abs Control Unit
4 wheel sensors
Hopefully the hubs/spindles on the focus without abs are the same as the ones with abs, as in they have a space for the sensor, just, its been blocked off. If not, youd have to do even more.
All in all, ..... Its .... NOT feasable for a normal person to do this, nor would the $$, time and hassle be worth it in the end.
Id pass on this idea. You could come to my garage.... I have the whole abd system I took out of an integra I was on the fence about using for my civic, but never did it because of those reasons above (And I have everything!)... My civic is just an empty shell with 1 seat.... Youd have to rip the focus apart to do this.
