I have just bought a 2000 zx3. I've only had the car a couple days. When I park or slow down there is a burning smell that comes from the driver's side firewall. I know it could be the clutch, but it might not be. Just seeing if anyone has any ideas.

probably valve cover gasket leaking and it drops on the exhaust manifold and burns/smells.. check under your hood if theres any oil.. can just be a little drop..
most likely that, mine is doing it now, have to change the gasket.. i saw it drop after looking inside the hood as soon as i got the smell
