Do you carry them? I'm looking for Sportline springs and Pro Dampeners. How much are they? How much for shipping to TO?

Eibach - D-Dub - 09-22-2004

dude the HR's are way better

Eibach - S2 - 09-22-2004

Depends on what you want for a setup. The PROKIT IMO is by far the best all around lowering spring for a daily driver. You don't have to worry about speedbumps, driveways, dips in the roads, underground parking, etc. Also you don't need to get a camber alignment kit cause your only dropping 1.5".

H&R are very nice, probably better but depending on what you get, can cost alot more also.

Eibach and H&R are the only setups I would put on my car.

Eibach - svt_rodg - 09-22-2004

dude the hr are way more expensive

looking for low look. the prokit won't lower it enough because the svt is already lowered and i'm afraid that it won't change the look much with the prokit. sportlines are 2.5" and i think would look better.

Eibach - S2 - 09-22-2004

Yeah the sportlines for the SVT, sorry didn't see that you drive an SVT. SVT suspension is only about 1/2" lower then a stock ZX3 so keep in mind you'll drop about a good inch more with the PROKIT. Sportlines are awesome also. I know a guy with them but don't ever drive behind the guy, he has to slow down at EVERY single road change, railway crossing, ect. It's a pain in the ass, I would hate to do it.

Also, are you planning on driving your car in winter? That is a HUGE consideration to think of. I am probably screwed with my car now for winter since I put the drop on, not to mention the WW kit.

Eibach - 01-yellow-ZX3 - 09-22-2004

The Sportlines aren't that bad.

Sure I slow down for railway crossings, but who doesn't with big rims and small tires.

Sportlines and stock bumper = no scraping at all if you're careful.

Eibach - svt_rodg - 09-22-2004

does anybody have pics of the sportlines?

if you are only looking for the "look" why spend so much money on eibach, just cut your stock springs or buy some really cheap ones like dropzone or R1 since it seems that performance is not what you are considering to lower the car ;)

Eibach - S2 - 09-23-2004

Dropzone's are crap, and cutting the springs is the ghetto way not to mention your ride quality will be out the door. Suspension is one thing you DO NOT want to cheap out on.

Eibach - hardk0re - 09-23-2004

I've got sportlines and stock dampers(not sure if the S2 dampers were different or not..)

The potholes feel a little hard, other than that the ride quality is pretty good.

i mentioned dropzone or cut springs mainly because to fit his requirments.. he needs something just to lower the car so that the car looks better :D

How long you had the springs for?

My car looks much lower for some reason.

I am almost 100% sure the dampers are the same but I know for a fact that the spring rate of the S2 suspension is different then the ZX3. See below.....

Stock ZX3 110/126
Street Edition/S2 97/114
SVT 129/157
Progress 1.5" 142/160
Eibach 1.5" 137/171

I wouldn't cut springs. How much did you all you guys pay for your setups? I'm looking for nice low look, with a factory ride. I know this is hard to achieve when you lower the car a lot, but I heard that the H&R cup kit lowers the car 2.5" and maintains an almost factory ride. Consider that this is for an SVT, and the car is already lowered from the factory.

I dont know if FK has a SVT setup but mine rides very weel and for the $550 to my door, it was an incredible deal for springs, front coils, and rear shocks. Match that with a bushing kit and the car handles like a dream.

BTW, I went from Stock struts/shocks/Eibach prokit to this setup and find the ride a LOT smoother. I also went back down to my stock wheels, which made a HELL of a difference in ride quality also.

Eibach - svt_rodg - 09-24-2004

Flofocus where did you get them from? I don't want to lower my car and then find that it will rub. I read that a lot of SVT owners rub when they lower because of the SVT rims and their 49mm offset.

I wouldnt know about rubbing issues with the SVT but when I had the 17's on mine I had no rubbing problems.
