'05 Focus ST Tune-up - Raypro - 05-20-2010 I have 130k on my Focus ST and was wondering what parts I should change for a tune-up. I called a local mechanic and he quoted me $400 which seems a lil high for me on a tune-up. Maybe you guys can help me out with what parts I can order on my own and just find a shop to go to on straight time. Let me know how much labor is normally involved as well RE: '05 Focus ST Tune-up - Spinal - 05-23-2010 (05-20-2010, 06:49 AM)Raypro Wrote: I have 130k on my Focus ST and was wondering what parts I should change for a tune-up. Let me know how much labor is normally involved as wellwow $400? wtf was he going do to start rebuilding the motor? if you have your owners manual i'd say just follow it, if not then: -oil change w/ filter -tranny fluid change -brake fluid -fuel filter -spark plugs -brakes (if you haven't already done so) -check the serp belt -check tires wear/air pressure do you have the stock intake? if so its time to replace it, if you have an aftermarket clean the filter. pretty much all i can think of |
