At almost 350,000km the timing chain broke and took the valves with it.

new motors for those are pricey since they are prone to go and often

- Was there any warning signs?
- What did it sound/feel like?
- How healthy was the engine, otherwise?

1. Buy Zetec donor car cheap.
2. Swap over everything.
3. Drink beer.
Note: step 3 can be substituted for step 1, 2 or inserted where deemed necessary.
