Insurance - Frost__2001 - 02-03-2011 Hey People. So recently in my life my partner left me and I was not longer able to afford my place in Brampton, so I moved into north Etobicoke and when I called up RBC Insurance they doubled my rate on my 2002 Focus and 87 Corolla, and terminated my renters insurance because I now live in a town house above a plaza, and as it would happen, they refuse to cover me as I live directly above a resturant. ![]() So I need to find a very reasonable insurance provider that will not make my rates sky rocket like the b/s RBC is pulling. I should point out that only accidents on my record are from 2009 from the hit and run. RE: Insurance - mo_focus - 02-04-2011 these guys are group insurance only so if you can get in it would be really cheap. I didnt find Adesa in there, but maybe something else you can find in there that will qualify you for the discount. http://www.thepersonal.com/p-on/EN/Pages/home.aspx RE: Insurance - j3rt - 02-04-2011 I am with Navigators. Undersigned by Wawanesa iirc. http://www.navigatorsinsurance.ca/html/contact/ They covered me with auto insurance when no one else would, with reasonable rates to add. I have not moved my other insurance over to them just yet. RE: Insurance - Mystake - 02-04-2011 I'm with Meloche-Monnex, 80$/month full coverage with deductibles @ 1000$. I'm 21 with a clean driving record. The month after I turned 21, my rates went from 189 to 151. Then, I called in that the car would be in Ottawa and it dropped to just under 80$. RE: Insurance - reldridge - 02-05-2011 I'm still with BelAir, both for house and car. Nobody has been able to beat their rates for me, and so far customer service has been good. Phone support has always been helpful. Give them a call, and see if they'll cover you above the restaurant. -Ryan |
