Fiesta ST -177 HP from EcoBoost 1.0? - moon111 - 02-25-2012

Taking a 1 liter three-cylinder and boasting power from 123 HP to 177 via twin sequential turbocharging with an electric supercharger. Crazy times. That's about the same amount of power my old 318 pushed out.

It's got half the displacement of my focus, yet without ecoboost it's still just as powerful.

GDI.

I think the article's out to lunch. I've heard it's 175-180HP from a plain turboed 1.6L 4-cyl. for the Fiesta ST. No electric supercharging. The article sounds hokey really.
