FS: 2002 Focus SVT - thenorm - 02-01-2016 To make some room in the garage to buy another car, I need to sell this first. This has been my weekend car for the last few years, but I have daily driven it the last few months to ensure it is up to the task and problem free. $4500 obo. Located in Vancouver. This is a very well balanced car and has great handling. It was designed by Ford to be a track ready hot hatch. Come for a test drive, and the car will pretty much sell itself. This is Ford's Special Vehicles Team (SVT) performance version of the ZX3 Focus. It is a limited edition and numbered car. This vehicle is #1321 of only 4788 SVT Focus built in 2002. It comes fully loaded with: • 170hp, 145 lb.ft, 2.0L 4cyl, designed by Cosworth • SVT Instrument Cluster and Guages • SVT specific Heated Leather Seats • Power locks, windows, heated mirrors • Remote Keyless entry • Premium stereo with factory subwoofer • SVT specific suspension / handling • ABS/ Traction Control • HID factory headlights • Sunroof • 17" SVT alloy wheels • SVT 4 wheel disc, track ready, big brakes • SVT 6 speed close ratio manual transmission • SVT Body Kit (bumpers, side skirts, spoiler) The Good: • Major maintenance is done o Clutch/flywheel/slave cylinder o Transmission fluid o Radiator Flush o Timing belt/tensioners o Water pump • Interior is 9/10 o No rips or tears or wear on the leather. o Heated seats work perfect. • Choice of one set of wheels: o 17" SVT alloys with new Continental DWS High Performance All season tires (%90 tread) o 16"OEM regular Focus wheels with 50% snow tires o Team Dynamics Pro Race 1, 17" wheels anthracite grey with 30% Continental DW tires o Additional sets of wheels for $300 The Bad: • Well, after 13 years of bad Vancouver drivers, street parking, and an unfortunate kiss with a snowbank have left its share of dings and bumper scrapes. Both bumpers would need a full paint respray, but from 20 paces, it doesn't look too bad. • Small crack in windshield on passenger side. Doesn't affect vision. |
