Coleman 3.5 Watt Trickle Charger with OBDII Connector - John-eh - 07-29-2016 Hi, I've had great success with this solar charger for my stored cars battery. I've hooked it up directly to the battery over last winter, and it kept the battery topped up so I could start the car once a month. I don't usually speak about a product I use, but I'm so 'charged' by the performance of this thing, and the fact that it actually does what it says it will do, that I have to share my experience with it. In fact, the other reason I'm telling about this particular model, is that I bought the larger 20 watt panel too and it doesn't do the job near as well as this smaller less expensive one. Go figure eh?
