I would have paid to see you and Dru go heads up in the 1/4 mile. For some reason I think he would have beat you. But now that he has other plans I doubt that will ever happen. It would have been a interesting race with your Fusion coming in second. :P

I would love to see that, I tried multiple times to get some guys out at the track With no luck. Next year on Aug 22 or 29 Weekend I better see some Foci at Cayuga. Maybe one day we can have a dyno day in the morning and then head to the track for some time trials.
Since when do fusions run low 13's? I think there is only a couple guys faster than me on here and none of them are 4 cylinders. ex srt8,Trans am and SVT Focus's Shelby.

Why not? But you have the snail under the hood right? That means I'd better get the SRI & tune (and hope you have a broken AWD system or an extra 500lbs in the trunk, whichever comes first :D)

All depends on traction, if our cars were to have equal levels of traction, I'd probably get smoked, but AWD > FWD and that would have been my ace in the hole in a 1/4 mile drag... that and a few extra goodies under the hood (assuming they ever arrive from Dixie Ford <_< )

arent the AWD fusions slower then fwd v6 fusions because of weight? im saying once your out of the whole. i drove a v6 fusion for about 2 weeks, it likely do well against my focus but definately would end up left behind at the end of the track. id like to see a blown v6 fusion tho, that would be dope

They've turbo'ed a 4cyl Fusion (I think the final numbers were in the 280 - 300hp range) but the V6 project is still just talk ATM, though I keep hearing that Steeda is looking at it seriously so I dunno, but I'm not sure that the 6 spd. auto in the V6 is good for anything over 300hp anyways (Or the AWD H/W)

ya FSwerks did their fusion and if i remember the dyno sheet correctly it made around 250whp on the stage 2 FS kit retrofitted onto the 2.3l fusion.

i would be in for this forsure. next year ill try and set up a couple tracks days if there is interest as i usually go with some buddies throughout the summer anyways. im guessing august 22/29 could possibly be street car nationals??

Well around the middle of 2011 I'm going to have my lil foci sitting nicely around 250Hp pure motor, going to go full Cosworth on it and put the ford racing Auto trany upgrades on her too. Then maybe I'l think about a boost.
