Fly By Wire Upgrade - Canadian ST - 07-13-2008
So I read this in the Focal Jet forums so I thought I'd give it a try. For the 08 Focus the throttle body is computer controlled and apparently if you run a ground wire from your battery to your throttle body you get better throttle response, so I gave it a try.

Well I honestly didn't think this would do anything at all, I was wrong. The throttle response is amazing! The engine seems to idle smoother and I can get it bouncing off the rev limiter a lot quicker then before. This is definitely a worth wild mod that only costs $6. It doesn't give you more power but it lets you get your rpm's up quicker. :D

i like 715km. the most i have ever got of Focus was 600 and that was on a highways for 5hrs.
with the Freestyle i get about 600 as well, but thats with 72Liter tank.

Ive never gotten over 680km to the tank, thats also driving at 90km and not passing anyone (country roads on the way to work)
