You can select to turn off the snow on the top left hand corner of the main forum directory.

I like the graphics on the front page, but its so much white that I could actually feel my retinas screaming in agony :blink: Any way you can add something or tone down the whiteness?
I like the snow effect as I'm writing messages though, makes me wish we actually had some snow here :P

I'm afraid you'll just have to done your sunglasses for now to prevent snowblindness.
The site is looking to switch to a brighter theme on the next refresh...
And since there appear to be people with less machine than the slowest one I own, I may switch to a different snowfall..
