Squeeky - brucktown - 09-22-2006 My front passenger side brakes (probably) have started to squeek. Whenever i press down on the brake there is a squeeking sound. I know it is not the break pads cus there is lots of pad left. I had them changed about a year ago/ 35k kms. Any ideas? Squeeky - NikiterZTS - 09-22-2006 sometimes inside pad wears out faster then the outside pad....i had that on my ford taurus Squeeky - BerinG - 09-22-2006 NikiterZTS,Sep 22 2006, 09:21 AM Wrote:sometimes insude pad wears out faster then the outside pad....i had that on my ford taurus yep that happened to me the first year i had the car also.. this can be remedied by properly lubing your caliper piston and other moving parts..its caus the caliper that gets stuck and wears on side more than the other..DO NOT put lub on any braking contact surfaces(rotors or pads)..just in case Although this might not be your problem.. check the inside pads for wear Squeeky - NikiterZTS - 09-22-2006 yea i would def take the whole thing off and took a carefule look. takes like 10 mins Squeeky - brucktown - 09-22-2006 hmmm to check the inside break pad, i would assume i can just take off the wheel and see form there?
