Why!
#1
HELLO!

Ok. So the other day i have to drive my friend home. he lives 20 miles out of town, so i thought i take my other friend along to have some one to talk to on the way back. right!? ANYWAYS , before i go my mom is all worried and "ooh be careful there are lot's of deer and stuff on the highway this time of year". So i was like "ok"

Well we had been driving for no more then ...oo say 13 mins, and then i see this thing in the middle of the road....i thought "mmm a bag on the road? no.... a rabbit? no.. oh s**t it's a BUCKET(one of those big oil pails. it was green). so i had to think fast. ethier hit the brakes "SLOWLY. so not of spin out. or go into the on coming traffic.... which there just so happened to be a big hill billy brown truck blast down the highway at me. so i braked and hit the bucket......

The stupid bucket got caught under front bumper.... , once we stopped, i got out and went to see the damage... nothing... it was fine. no scratch .. nothing. so my friend goes and lifts the front end of the car and i pull out the bucket..... Then i kicked the stupid bucket as hard as i could... it flew in a farmers field. i was angry.

SO! with all this done. am thinking well things have got to get better. so i start the car up.. no problems. i make sure all the little features work. They do. So i re enter the highway going around 90 now.. since i fear random buckets... and i go to turn on my bright beams and what happens. *LEAP* a family of deer go jumping across the high way. tho i stopped right before them and honked my horn very angrily for about 30 secs, then started back down the road.. well the rest of the trip was fine, but i found that . to emergency stops in my mom's care took a really beating on the brakes.... it's going to need new brake shoes for sure.

Well yea. sorry to of laid down that whole bitch fest ... but neh i needed to let some steam off.

oh the car i was driving was a

2001 pontiac Sunfire GT, Manuel, 2.4 L engine. dark blue,,..... very fun car.. . sorta

Beeping angrily at deer does nothing. They don't care if you're angry.

That is what I was thinking. I know the area and you never know what you might find on the highway or jumping out at you.

I'd say you had a good day... you didn't hit anything that caused major damage to the car. Not everyone gets lucky twice in one day ;)

some times it just isn't your day. I had one of those days before. It was actually quite funny.

I was on a long trip and at tthe start a bird flew right into the sid3e of the car, 20 minutes later, a cat ran out infront of me and got OWNED by my tire, i saw i flying across the side of the road in my mirror. 10 minutes after that i had to brake because there was a DOG in the middle of the freaking road, so then i turn down a back road and it just so happens that i ran over a TURTLE, the was a freaking turtle in the middle of the road!(went under the car though, between the tires) it was about a foot long.
The rest of the trip i was driving really slow, i was afraid of deer/cow/horse/boat/train/casino, litteraly anything in my mind was possible to jump out infront of me that day.

Sounds like you were dropping some acid or something! hehe!

I remember *I* got hit by a frickin DEER once on some backroad in Pennsylvania. I was just driving along, the deer comes running down the embankment, and *FWHAM!* runs into the side of my tempo. wtf? Didn't bounce me off the road or damage the car, cept for a little piece of antler in the rubber molding around the window.

Oh yeah, and honking at 1) deer, 2) Canadian geese do not prompt them to move. I Almost ran over a flock of those flying poop machines coming home from work the other day. Landed in the road, about 30ft in front of me.. and then wouldn't move, even with tires screeching to stop. Had to be about 10-15 of them, just honking and looking around. Was almost ready to get out of the car and kick the hell out of them but they must have read my mind and got off the road.

Well all's good now i spos. but i still wish i could of found out who the hill billy was that placed the bucket on the road...

because if or do i find out, there is going to be a lot of hurt laid down. A joke is a joke, but really. if i had not of braked i would of more then likely cracked the windshield or worse.

Geese are crazy bastards, when i was driving my cougar, i was following a van, and i saw this goose flying right in front of the van.

I yell out to my buddies "Oh s**t, that goose is going to get SMOKED!!" Van JUST missed it.

So we were laughing, and then my buddy yells "Watch out!" There was a goose heading striaght for me, right in line with my A pillar. and my window was down. I swerve and miss the crazy damn. It was so close that i have feathers fly in my window. He was honking his head off...

maybe he thought i stole their kids or something.
I wish my grass was Emo, so it would cut itself...

hmmm this reminds me of my trip back from my Vacation out west in 2001 in the old Focus I had............

It was about an hour out side of Winnipeg, and well I was in the fast lane with the cruise set at 115 km/ph and I'm listening to the radio round 4 am or so and it's still dark out, and I was coming up on a transport truck and I was slowly starting to pass it. there was a big drop on either side of the highway at this point and then all of a sudden a deer ran out in across the highway and right into the transport truck.................

I saw the deer getting hit and explode on impact.............. and the truck started to swerve all over, almost running me off the road, and All I can remember is seeing bits of parts flying over my car and something hitting my windshield I think it was a leg, or antler I'm not sure....... so I sped right up to 140 to pass the truck really really fast and I did....... I was shaking............

I pulled into a gas station on the out skirts of winnipeg and the sun is now rising..... and I'm in shock and I'm putting in gas into my car and the guy comes out like totally spooked.... and says are you ok????

From the passenger side to the top of the driver side of the windshield there was a spray of bloud... and all that nasty stuff. and well I got 2 free car washes out of it, and well I called my dad and freaked like 2 hours later. I was still picking deer fur out from my wiper blades one month later. Other then the chip in the windshield ther ewas no other damage to the car.
