Insurance Went Down Again
#1
Right on, heres the breakdown:

2001 Focus sedan: $1,359/year
2004 WRX wagon: $1,592/year

Total, $2,951. It was about $3,200 last year.

So much for the "I can't possibly get a WRX because the insurance is so high" excuse i've heard from some.

Thats downtown Toronto, $500 deductable, 15,000km per year per car. It will probably go down more because that quote is for two drivers (38 & 36). By the time I dump the wife and the Focus it's bound to be less. CAN'T WAIT.

The ins went down this year on my svt...

Last year = 03 svt focus - Dad primary - 1604.00 + Me = 850.00 (Secondary)

This year = 03 SVT focus - Dad primary - 1260.00 + Me 700.00 (Secondary)

(not including time spent off the road)... in the end the svt ends up costing me about 600 per year to insure.

This year, Both the svt and the acclaim on year round 3205.00
3 drivers. My dad (57), My uncle(55) Me (20)

Also, I didnt get the wrx for 2 reasons...

1) I didnt feel like starting a 700$ a month financing plan for a new one

2) all the other wagons on trader had the piss beaten out of it.
