It's This This End Of Satellite Radio?

I love my sat radio, have sirius in both cars. I went with a yearly subscription.

I know of some people that cancelled their subscription but still get the service!!

That happens because if you shut off the radio before canceling the service and leave it off for a while afterward, the cancel signal which is initially broadcast repeatedly is broadcast with less and less frequency to save bandwidth, eventually it even stops being broadcast, for a time, at all.

Not that I'm advocating that anyone try this trick to get "free" service, but there you are.
