Anybody got or know of one laying Around? Mine Died...... had To Buy a New Focus But Would Still like to get this one running

Probably better to go with a ZTec engine.

True. But Ztec is more worth it in the end. :D

He has a new focus, so Im guessing this is just to get a second car up and running.

Yep Just Looking to get the second up as a beater.... I got 250,000 out of the engine with only regular Oil Changes and a ignition Coil. So Its done its Job.

Did you drive the s*** out of it I have 270,000km on my spi and other from a little bit of noises like ticking its still running strong

Where are you from? I'm sure I can get one from sunshine autoparts in cumberland for cheap...

I got my zetecs from them for under $500 with warranty ;)

EDIT: Sorry, see your looking for something in Alberta....cant help ya :(

Ya I drove it Pretty Hard..... think I found another Spi Local, Only has 106k on it for $300

Just a small question regarding the SPI. Is the SPI engine the same as the engine as the 1.9 in the 95 Escort? I got 300,000 Kms out of an Escort engine before I made a mistake and then had to get the engine replaced :(
