Exhaust wrapping was made for turbo, essentially the idea behind that is that it keeps the header hotter on the inside , and thus keeping the exhaust as hot as possible, beacause as we know with turbo , theory states you want that turbo to get as hot as possible. I dont think you'll have much of a problem , cause really , your logstyle manifold is the best one to choose and its the shortest so you shouldnt need a header wrap.
But the downsides are there , more heat kept in the pipes means that the steel gets weaker alot faster and can eventually cause the header to crack. Also the wrap traps moisture which can cause the header to rust, and in a hurry.
