Nah Nick you'll be fine, just get a compression test. If you fail the compression test (compression isnt where it should be0 then rebuild the block in preparation for that Powerworks Supercharger.
Trust me 186k on a car isn't alot if its been maintainted real well. I beat on my car whenever I drive it but I maintain it like no tomorrow. Oil changes done exactly on time (full synthetic too), fuel filter every second oil change, everything inspected/torn down/ replaced if need. I pulled the head off my car just to see whats inside and theres no markings/scratches in the walls of the block, pistons are fine (didnt see the rods) and the head along with the valves/springs and cams was fine as well. As far as I'm concerned, if i go boost anytime soon my motor will be ready to take on about 8-10 psi. If I wanted to go higher in boost i'd re-build it then. Just my input here Nick, but you should be fine.
