I totally feel you on Chile. My wife's family is from Chile and I got a chance to go down firsthand to experience the culture and the surroundings. Hell of a long trip to make it down there. Toronto to Santiago and onwards to Antofagasta. Quite the experience, and @ that time is was September in and around their Indepedance day celebrations where virtually EVERYTHING shut down for the holiday lol.

Next time we have plans on checking out Vina Del Mar and maybe hit up Easter island.
