i measured my stock maf before and it was 3-1/8" .. a 3" filter did not fit properly.. had to shave the inside rubber..

not "slide in".. im not sure how the filters are measured and if a 3-1/8" would be perfect fit or if it would have to be like 3-1/4" or something
