it's a timing belt, not chian. if you read your owners guide, it really dose not need to be changed untill 160,000 or 4 years, same with the spark plugs. you can get away with 200,000 before doing a timing belt change if you keep your car in top running condition, I can say that as I just did mine @ 223,000 mainly because it just started showing signs of age.
I was the only member on this board with a Yellow Focus Sedan, and a 2002+ Euro Facelift on a sedan.
