Older Vehicles from Ford (Like the Tempo/Topaz V6 for example) often had stock Stainless Steel exhaust systems, I think this was also true of Contours and some models of the Escort as well.

For the difference in price, you'd be well off to putting on an MBRP system if you haven't already .
