i personally do not think the JRSC is a good option...
for the money they cost they just do not offer the return.
sure if you can get one for $1000cnd then why not, that's a killer price, but you still will get similar power and performance from all the bolt-ons and a good headpackage....slap a JR onto that and that would be a nice ride. ;)
sadly, most people do not get a JRSC offered to them for such a great price, and i personally wouldn't consider one unless they sell for $1500usd new right from the dealer.

yes, they offer a gain but they also offer a very limited amount or output.
JR's service is questionable... they sure didn't impress me when i called them up to ask them some questions.
is it better that other kits... that is entirely debateable! everyone has their own opinion and likes what they like.
i have driven a 187fwhp JR SC'ed SVT and it was fun but i have been in and driven many other high HP foci and recently got to drive the Bishop Sales/Steeda Vortech SC'ed ZX3... it's really hard to compare, each car brinsg something different to the table andunless yo have driven them all you really have no right to call one better than another... just that you would buy "__________" and put it on your car.
i sell Vortechs because i believe it is a better package with more flexibility and allows you to inter/after-cool the intake charge, something the JR does not.
does this make it a better kit? no
the JR is a perfectly linear powerband, the vortech, does not see boost right away and requires time build similar to a turbo.
the JRSC has a limit of about 200-220fwhp before it starts to become completely useless.
the vortech in a similar package will see 250-300fwhp and more if you are going really wild.
it all comes down to persoanl prefference.
