Well, the Focus has an interesting mount. Most of my vehicles have either had the whole assembly attached to the windscreen with epoxy, or was mounted to the body just above the windscreen.
The Focus has a metal piece attached to the glass. The rearview mirror assembly clips onto this metal bit. I managed to break off a chunk of the plastic where it clips on to the metal, so it will not stay clipped on.
Krazy Glue held it for a few days.... giving it another shot. Glueing the living s*** out of it tonight, and will try again in the morning.
