after googling some info, sap fog is h1 but you are reusing bulb socket base which looks like 9005 bulb.
here is pic

so h1 or 9005 bulb either one will work.

Great info to use. Thanks for the help. Ill keep it in mind when i get my kit.

K... Woulnt the hid kit plug into the clip? Read one guy bought an h11 kit for his sap and he had to use screws to mount the hids because the h11s wouldn't fit in the housing?

no because h1 bulbs plug into the housing then attach to the wiring pigtail
