Udp Fuel Economy Update
#1
Not bad, ran the numbers Sunday when we got back from Sudbury:

237KMs on just over 1/4 tank of gas, including a decent chunk of driving through Sudbury and Garson. And, I can finally pull the last two hills outside of Sudbury's cutoff in OD, locked up, without downshifting. They're not low percentage grades either.

That's on the original plugs and a rather dirty filter. I'm lovin' that UDP more and more, I tell ya :)

IF IMAY SHARE SOME EXPERIENCE WITH MY BATTLE FOR BETER FUEL MILEAGE

SINCE I BOUGHT MY FORD f***US I GOT ONLY 425 KLM PER TANK
LAST WEEK I DECIDED TO LOOK AT THE PLUGS .

I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I SAW FORD INSTALLED 2 DIFFERENT TYPE OF PLUGS 2 WERE AZFS32F AND THE OTHER WERE AZS32FE THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE FE'S ARE DOUBLE PLATINIUM (PLATINIUM ON CENTER ELECTRODE AND ON GROUND ELECTRODE) THE OTHER 32F WERE PLATINIUM TIP ONLY

WHY DID FORD DO THIS ? THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE 2 PLUGS PLATINIUM TIP ONLY, HAD A MUCH LARGER GAP THEN THE OTHER
I BOUGHT SOME NGK PTR5A=13 DOUBLE PLATINIUM AND MY CAR NOW GETS
550 KLM PER TANK AVERAGE SPEED 115 KLM/PH

I HANE NO MODS TO THIS CAR AND DRIVE LIKE A SAINT

I REALLY RECOMEND ALL TO CHECK THERE PLUGS AND SEE IF THEY ARE ALL DOUBLE PLATINIUM

FOR THE RECORD I WROTE NGK ABOUT MY SIT AND THEY RESPONDED BY SAYIN G THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHY FORD WOULD DO THIS . I AMM ASSUMING TO SAVE COSTS
