Anybody Work At Ford...
#1
Seeing as a bunch of people work for Ford here, i was wondering if any of the dealerships you work at can get/ look up saleen parts?

I phoned the local dealer here and turns out they dont deal with saleen anymore.

I need a price on a rear saleen bumper for the focus. ('00-'04 body style)

Appreciate it guys/gurls, thanks in advance.

this is who I contacted for my "interest" in the roush Mustang.

Does this help?

his email address. Doug McGivern <dmcgivern@meadowvaleford.

I know it's not saleen but I think, think they did both.

And no, I don't get any discount on these parts. If I do, tell him your a Ford employee and if he offers you a discount, I'll see it through for you.

here's another idea. This guy on eBay is selling his Saleen Focus. Ask him where he got the car and who services it.

He is located in Toronto.

haha im not asking for discounts, just where i can get a price and see if i can order on so it can be shipped there.

I phoned a toll free USA number and they said 2-3 week @ $399 USD...ouch.

I got a crack/hole in my bumper, should i just take ti to a body shop and see if they can patch it up? i dont really wanna spend 400usd +shipping/brokerage+paint+labour.

Take it to some body shops and see what they say.

I've been sent out to do some field work at car auctions a few times. It's amazing how their body guys can make holes or scratches in bumpers disappear in less than an hour.

No matter what, i think ill see if a body shop can patch it up, im sure it would be alot cheaper then replacing the entire bumper.

Ill post a pic of the damage when i get home, maybe you guys can give a bit more insight if its possible.

But thanks for looking CanadaSVT and meford!

The front bumper on Aaron's car was fixed before we bought it, but it broke again with shipping the car here in the same spot it had been repaired. If it's the front bumper, then my personal opinion would be to replace it as it would be prone to fialing in the same spot agian. If it's the rear, then just fix it.
But if your short on cash just through some spew at it and call it a day.
