Rear Passenger Window Won't Roll
#1
So a friend of mine (about as satisfied with her can as AnthonyD is) has a problem where her passenger rear window won't roll up. Ford tech says it's a regulator, and will cost a few hund to replace.

Anyone have any thoughts what it might be and how easy it might be to fix? She has a 2000 sedan.

Well he said it was a regulator, so my guess is a regulator. and it's not hard to fix at all.

Maybe just pop off the door panel and test it out with a volt meter, could be something easy you could fix up with a trip to the scrap dealer by replacing the whole motor control/unit.

I have the same problem with the passenger rear window, you have to hit the button 3 times to make it go down with that door's button but on the drivers control it goes down and up fine.

Power windows?

I just replaced thedrivers side window regulator on my civic. Took a whole 30 minutes to do.

The part was pretty $$, $75 at the scrap yard.
