Something that new, Nvidia? http://www.ncix.com

Oh and if you're not getting a 6800 GT, it's 6200 junkers or less for you if you want a 256MB frame buffer.

With ATI (and I don't get why you don't want one), you can get a X600/X700 with a 256MB frame buffer and get awesome midrange performance.

On that note, why do you need a 256MB frame buffer?

To each their own :)

Can I recommend the BFG 6600GT OC 128MB AGP card? LIFETIME warranty, a real performance job for midrange.

From the product page:

Along with some good overclocking results (588 on the core, 1.17 on the memory clock), BFG also throws in their lifetime warranty and 24/7 toll free tech support with the 6600GT OC but unfortunately there is no bundled game included. Pricing is on the higher side - both locally and online, the BFG 6600GT OC commands a premium over other 6600GT AGP cards and like the benchmarks, puts it in the region between reference 6600GT cards and the more expensive 6800
