I'm falling a bit behind.. I just officially signed up.

I'm sure we'll have more folks come out... and 2001_ZTS is going.. just in his subie (the trick is going to be keeping up with the subies... they like to do the whole inch-worm "slow down, shoot forward, slow down, shoot forward" so they can feel like they're performance driving.

The g35 guys just pin the gas pedal and accept the fact they're probably going to get pulled over.

heeh its not about "ours is going to be better"...its just going to there and showing everyone there are some nice focus out there too. Our TOprotege has a bunch of cruise during this fall and winter runs in the snows for some drifting too, but its its still great to come out to this C7 and rep the proteges

Maybe not for you, but if I had to choose between ours and C7, having been to C7 and not to disappoint anyone, I was bored senseless hanging out in a field with a bunch of hungry bees.
I showed my Focus and that be that. It doesn't need to be done twice and I can entertain myself with beer at home.
But like I said, have fun.
Oh, and if you want to come to the better meet on Oct. 15th, sign up. We'd love to have ya.

Ok.

This will just be a short post with a bit of information i gathered yesterday

Last time i checked They were expecting approx 300 cars. Last year they had over 500.

The field will be plowed/mowed according to the amount of cars expected. If the field is completley mowed. it can take 1000~2000 Cars.

There will be food, snacks. etc. avaliable at the general store. as well as theyre thinking of setting up a BBQ.

Entry will be collected at the field. theyre thinking 3.00. Just to cover the extra preperation costs (owner of the field mowing, portapotty rentals etc)

Theyre expecting a magazine (the name escapes me at the moment) apparently the editor/owner of the magazine is very approachable. willing to work with car clubs.

This year, the owner of the land and the general store is planning to open the event to the townspeople etc.

There may be a possible change in starting point to Meadowvale GO station. (meadovwale GO is in a more industrial area of Mississauga. This Change might take place for easier organization. easier exiting. and i believe its a bit closer to the start of the actual cruise route. Brampton GO station is at the corner of steeles and bramalea (busy intersection) and it made exiting tricky last year.

C7 also suggests bringing 2 way radios... Usually set to channel 7, but more will be discussed on the actual day.

Now that more details are posted. I hope we can get some more cars out to the event this year.

Hey I just want to thank everyone who came out to the pre-run. We ran what will most likely be 90% of the real route. There will be a couple of SLIGHT changes to the route we ran. As well there will be another pre-run for club leaders on the 16th for those who missed it and then all the directions will be posted online for all club members to download !
