Havent been on this site for a while anyway just thought i would put a pic of my wagon here . Just waiting for my 17" chrome 5 spokes will post picture.
A quick question, anyone know how to take off the roof bars?

i see no pics?

you need a t20 bit, same one as the MAF. Should be 10-12 screws altogether.
I'd recommend cutting the unthreaded tip off each screw. You can screw them back into the roof fasteners with a little bit of silicone (or you choose of sealant). With out cutting them they are a hair too long and you can feel them pushing on 'something'.

of course if you only want to remove the crossbars and not the whole roofrack. Just loosen the thumbscrews and slide them towards the front of the car. Make sure to not loose any bits. The crossbar sorta falls arpart once you get it off the rails.
