New Alpine Components
#1
Well I was wondering now. I bought some new Type S 5X7 component speakers (thanks Nos and Oscar for the tip) today and I want to install them. They are 5X7 midwoofer and a seperate tweeter with a passive crossover. My big concern is...how exactly do I take off the door panel on teh front of the car. I found all the screws around the panel. Do I need to take the window crank off as well? If so what is needed to do that?

Yeah... You have to take it off. Did you remember to take the trim off the handle and get the two screws there?

Do you need a hand with it?

Oscar went over last night???

Nice. At least there's two Focus owners here that know how to do the manual window-doors now. :D

Guess what I'm doing after the wedding!

Bring your stuff by on Saturday, I'd love to see it.

Well not quite. I went to his place. I figured it would be easier that way cuz he had the tools to pull the crap out of the door. Only tool we were missing was the door puller for the stupid window cranks. SO!!!! My solution was to bust out some mad torque and rip the bloody clip off with a nice precision screwdriver and alot of cursing and swearing. Yeah those clips didn't stand a chance..

oh and to boot, I got my underglow installed
