Wtb: Bug Deflector And/or Mini-bra
#1
Hi all

Anyone know where I can buy either a bug deflector for the hood or a mini-bra for a 2003 ZX3?

For the bug deflector I would like either smoked-gray or black in color and something that mounts WITHOUT drilling.

For the mini-bra I want one of the ones that just has the piece to go on the front edge of the hood only.

I found them both at fordparts.com, but they don't ship to Canada??? WTF? Is there a Canadian equivalent?

I got one of those 1/2 bras still available, well sorta, some guy is going to give me $60USD shipped for one right now, in mint condition, no rips or tears.

I know what you mean, I was looking for some online to see how much they might be so I can gauge the price for a used one, I ended up just posting "offers"......

The FORD dealership should be able to get one in for you no problem.....

don't get a bra, sand gets under it and it ends up ruining the paint on your hood, i have a wind/bug deflector mounted on my hood(had to drill though) and it works great, you can actually see the bugs get deflected over the car.

there is a noticeable difference when you drive with someone in the country and look at their windsheild and then compare it to mine

I got my bug deflector installed at Ziebart. The only place I found to order one was in Hamilton, but it wasn't worth the drive. I had Ziebart order and install for me. I had also purchased a magnetic hood protector off eBay. I gave it away after deciding on the bug deflector.

Hey... can I ask how much Ziebart charged you for that? Did they have any smaller models?

I can't remember the cost, but I do remember I had to give them a deposit for them to order it. They don't keep them in stock.

If anyone is interested, Ford actually makes a bug deflector for the Focus. Part number is YS4Z 16C900 AA and cost is $85.69 (at Markville Ford - might be able to shop around a bit though.)

This one. I think it will actually look good on my French Blue with tint. :)
