My New Vavle Cover

Here is a pic of my new vavle cover :D and my shorter shifter :D Me and Jarrod had a busy 2 days and week got 4 days till the big compact show.

yup shes painted... amazing what 6 hours of patience will do lol
Me and Jarrod are going to make are own spark plug wire covers then it should look way nicer..

how long did that take you in total? did you use a new gasket on there?

There was no gasket under the vavle cover. I popped it off and there was nothing. Was kinda surprised. Oh well. I dont have oil shooting out every where yet LOL. Let alone the fact I forgot to cross bolt them down (stupid me). What breaks can be fixed :D

I was thinking of doing the same thing with my valve cover. I have all this blue paint left over from the calibers and drums maybe ill just use that.

I used a high temp aluminum/silver engine paint as a base then used blue metal cast paint over that..

Did you paint your Steeda intake also? The color match is like perfect if you didn't. Awesome job....

Some emgines don't have valve cover gaskets, never knew the zetec had that :unsure: Hmm cool :)

its a rubber gasket stays on the valve cover....

Sorry Jason but I had to do the same mod. I just painted mine Inferno Red (same colour as the 2005 Dodge Magnum) but it's not dry enough yet to put it back on. Here's some pics!
