List Your Turbo Parts
#1
Ok so I made the decision to go back to turbo. LOL I plan on doing a custom setup. I think
a custom setup is the best way for me to learn plus way cheaper then buying Toms kit LOL.
I got a buddy who is fairly experienced in this area and he is helping me make a list of the items I need. He said I should ask some of the guys here what there list of parts includes or what parts they would go. Then do some mixing and matching of his list and others.

As for what I am after. I plan on doing a non intercool system to start off with. Nothing to serious. I would like to be pushing out 6psi just for starts. This will be my first turbo system so I dont want to go to big yet but I would like to make sure the parts I do get allow me to upgrade the turbo in the future as i gain more experience..

Now I can prolly go read and read and search but seriously Im getting tired of reading. I am the person that learns by getting the parts and just doing it LOL.

you can save money, and time by picking up a mustang GT MAF from the scrap yard (or even new from a dealership, it's cheaper than pro-M)... especially if you're going with the SCT software.

that, and if Steeda's burning you the chip, you definitely want a mustang GT maf instead.... there's lots of variances in the pro-m MAFs that will require tweeking of the tune (hence my purchase of wideband O2 and datalogging software).

I definitely don't recommend the 2002 lightning/cobra, but if you want, I have one here, that's been modified to fit a cone filter. offer me a good price, and we can chat.

wish I did... but I buckled and went with Pro-M (and why I'm buying all this other crap to make it work)...

[edit] I see you asked in the parts forum on modular depot. They may need you to clarify what you're asking for.. I've gotten part numbers off of them in the past. [/edit
