Well, as mentioned in my earlier thread, the Rally Cyprus results have been officially changed.

For those who didn't know, there was controversy after Rally Cyprus about the water pumps used on both Citroen cars, as well as, both Peugeot cars, including Rally winner Marcus Gronholm.

Well, after further investigations were conducted, Rally winner Gronholm and Peugeot teammate Harri Rovenpera have been officially excluded from the final rally Cyprus points standings!!

The water pumps used by the Citroen cars, however, were deemed to be acceptable!! This result has moved Sebastien Loeb up into the standings as the new official winner of 2004 Rally Cyprus!!

With the exclusion of the Peugeots cars, Sebastien Loeb now leads the drivers championship with 35 points.
Markko Martin is 2nd with 34 points, and Petter Solberg is in 3rd, overall, with 28 points!!

Ford, once again, has the manufacturers title lead with 58 points, Citroen with 54, and Subaru trailing in 3rd with 40 points!!
