WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG? ***NEW ISSUE***
#1
Alright.
So I finally got all the parts I needed to get my stock radio put back in and it still doesn't work. 3 weeks waiting to get all this s**t.

I bought the stock harness from a member, along with the antenna wire and hard wired it all up. colour to colour no problem.

Plugged it in and nothing. no power, no sound, no nothing.

I'm ready to bash the s**t out of this fuckin' car.

If i can't get it sorted out in the next few days, I'm just going to take it to a stereo shop and have a new system put in.

What could I have done wrong?

I have completely removed all my old stereo components, amps, wiring rca wires etc... Could i have missed something?

Could the stock deck in the member's car I bought the harness from be different? I don't get it. HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

Okay.
Replaced the blown fuse. Thanks guys.
Deck works fine. Sounds like s**t, but works fine.

Now I don't have any dash lights. No cluster, no climate controls etc...
The decks display lights up, but nothing else.

WTF???

Download your owner's manual:

It'll save you some headaches, print out the fuse pages and make sure you throw them in your glove box.

Have you checked the wires in your dash opening to make sure they didn't cut any not going to the radio?

What if you unplug your radio...do your dash lights come on then?

I'm out of gas today.
I'll rip it all apart again tomorrow.
As far as checking the dash light when the radio is NOT plugged in.... that something i haven't tried yet.
