Lorne Park - Mississauga bound
#1
I'm getting transferred to a job site in Lorne Park - Mississauga. Will work M-F and come home on weekends to make sure the kids don't forget who I am.

Anyone know of cheap places to stay? Eat? Entertainment?

some places to stay in and around Lorne Park area:

The Waterside Inn - 15 Stavebank Road South, Port Credit, ON, L5G 2T2
Willows Motel - 1041 Highway 2 (Lakeshore) East, Mississauga, ON
Green Acres Motel - 1303 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, ON L5E 1G5
Hampton Inn Mississauga West - 2085 North Sheridan Way, Mississauga, ON L5K 2T2

There are 2 other lodging places near the lake shore that have bad reviews which I did not mention here.

For places to eat, Just drove along the stretch of Lakeshore Road (Hwy 2) from the west end (southdown/erin mills) to the east of Hwy 10 (Hurontario) and you will find a dozen or so nice places with all kinds of food.

Hope This Helps, and enjoy your stay.

Haha, nice. I'm right in Port Credit. Lot's of pubs and little restaurants all along Lakeshore. Burrito Boyz on Stavebank is awesome and the Harp on Lakeshore has pretty good wings ($0.50/ea on Sun/Mon/Tues nights). Entertainment wise ... not a ton but we're close to Square One and Sherway gardens.
