I read in the latest Automobile mag that N/A will get teh Fiesta ST, but it'll be a year after the Focus ST so as not to steal any thunder from it's intro. Who knows how acurate that is, but I'd personally prefer the Fiesta ST over the Focus ST. I'd like to see the 2dr too, but would probably have to settel for the 5dr.

Yup. I'd rather one of those over the Focus ST. Sorry guys... my first-gen has me loving the "no frills, light weight" doctrine too much. I'd get one of those, bump the power some and make sure it had no extra crap in it.

I can't get over the size of the mirrors on such a small little car.

Can't wait to see these! I was in an SE today for the first time, extremely smooth and surprisingly roomy interior and trunk. The space in the trunk was very similar to my zx5, which I didn't even think would compare. It does need more pep, but no doubt the st's turbo will provide that.

I drove a SES with the DSG (and I'll keep calling it that until people stop calling it an "automatic". Autos have torque converters. Sheesh.) and it was peppy. 6-speeds in that car would make intake / exhaust / tune / suspension worthwhile, along with real tires. The ST with the same upgrades would actually be in Focus ST territory at least for cornering and handling.

Also, I'm 6'3", 195lbs, and I fit just fine in the Fiesta with room to spare. The front seat was nowhere near all the way back, either.
