Wheel Hop
#1
Ever since i put my summer tires on, I noticed ive been getting excessive wheel hop. When i launch a little hard even, i get bad wheel hop. Probably not all the wheel hop is contributed by the tires, there must be something more to it.
What is the cause of wheel hop and what can be done to fix it?

Suspension and poly mounts are about all you can do to get rid of it

Thnx jamie. Poly dogbone mount going in asap. Just changed the pax side mount from ford less than a year ago, and I dont want too much vibration changing all the mounts to poly.

I went for a ride in my buddies 04 with a the lower trans (dogbone) changed to a focus sport version. He also had a focus sport strut bar and with that compination i didnt experiance any wheel hop or excessive engine movement that these seem cars seem to be plagued with. The dog bone is one of my next upgrades.
