Aftermarket sub and amp...Warranty?
#1
My Focus is my first new car... don't want to screw it up.

Will installing a sub/amp void any of my electrical warranty?

I don't think so. The power comes off of the battery directly and grounds to the chassis. Unless you have a stupid crazy wattage setup without cap, maybe an issue.

I'm not doing anything spectacular, and i'm not swapping my head units..
My buddy is giving me a 12" kicker sub, 1200 W, and his Sony Xplod amp, 1600 W.
I don't really have the room for 2 subs anyways, i would still like some trunk space LOL
Thanks for your input

it is not going to void warranty, if they do, take ur car to different dealer.

i even do remote starter, overhead dvd, headrest dvd, reverse sensor, reverse camera, headunit, parrot bluetooth pieces and etc for new car dealership.
they call us to do the job.
