use allen keys and a screw driver to find TDC...get two allen keys the same size and wedge them in the back of the gears (they should be long enough to rest on the head and hold the gears solid). voila! problem solved. no expensive "timing tools" or wait for shipping and works just as good.
Thats how i did the timing on my zetec anyways.
05 focus se SLAMMED! 5 speed tranny swap with exedy stage 3 hypersingle clutch, raceland coils, MBRP exhaust, FSWERKS stage 2 turbo kit. Massive adjusting camber, toe arms. Steeda's HUGE rear sway bar with upgraded links. Roll bar in the back no backseats. no radio and tons of gauges!
