Hey Folks,

Not sure how many people use dropbox or icloud, or any cloud storage services, but just wanted to let you know that SpiderOak has a special that will give you 5GB of free cloud storage if you sign up before May 12.

The nice thing about this, is that it's pretty darn secure. They don't store passwords, just your encryption key, so all data stored or retrieved from them is encrypted. Which means they can't see what's in side your files, and it would be pretty hard to hack into your account and steal files.

Thought some folks might appreciate this considering how handy cloud storage can be, but are concerned about how open it is.

I hate the requirement for these agents I'd just like to drop files there via browser too sometimes.

Yeah, if you wanted to drop something in, you would have to use something that doesn't encrypt (like drop box), or they need a browser plugin.
