Building a Boosted Duratec
Yesterday I had some more time to work on the Focus a bit. Not much but I needed to test some things while I am on 24hr service call all weekend.

First thing. I installed my new 05-07 drive shafts to make sure they would fit the 07 Fusion bracket. So glad it did!!! Also I see now why the turbo drain line is bent out. So it clears the drive shaft...

That being said I gave them a quick painting of green and slide it back in.

I took some time and started to put the coolant lines together for the turbo and other locations on the car. I'm not 100% sure this is the proper flow direction of it. So please chirp in if I screwed up!

I then took a close look at the AEM watermeth spray nozzle. I really don't like the quick connect plastic tubing they give you. So I removed the quick connect fitting and installed a 1/8" NTP 8mm barb and slide over my 4an SS Braided line to test it. Works amazingly.

My buddy I grew up with stopped by as he has a unit around mine and we jumped in the back seat to prove there is plenty of room for 2 big guys on each side and we could buckle up too. I still have to hit up the junkyard to change the passenger rear buckle to a single buckle as I am deleting the middle from being used. My buddy says it's like riding in a rollercoaster. Being strapped in with bars all around you. Just like wonderland lol.

I also drilled holes for the Wideband and the positive and negative power wires for the new location of the battery.

Not much more to do on it to get the engine in. I have to clean up some wiring loom and make it show ready to a point. I still want to have durability. So I will not be tucking too many wires around.
Next weekend she is going in the car. Not if, ands, or buts. This s**t needs to get done soon. Tuning is afterward.

Brandon is having a hell of a time with his. He is doing a similar build like me but he is 5 steps ahead of me. He is finding out that we can just use the Auto wiring harness. We just need to splice a couple connectors onto it to make is all work. He is self tuning like I will be doing too. His car starts and now it's all about finding that sweet spot!!

That's it for now.
