Painting Center Caps

Hey guys, I recently picked some stock chrome center caps from Ken, I'll be using these on a set of stock 16" rims with snow tires. Has anyone tried painting these? If so was it necessary to strip the chrome first?

I did just clean the surface use a primer and then your colour. Dupli colour.

you should check in the focus on apperance thread but primer and paint might do the job
